"I feel so positive. I’ve not had a binge day since seeing you. It makes me feel so happy" |
Hate it? Change itEveryone has the odd bad habit. But if it's taking over, whether it's controlling how you live, affecting your confidence, stopping you from doing certain things or simply something you feel embarrassed by, it's time to change it.
Comfort eating? Biting your nails? Excessive drinking? Whatever your unwanted habit, changing it is easier than you think. Hypnotherapy can help - see what my clients say. |
"If anyone is in two minds whether to book an appointment, I say do it – you have nothing to lose and potentially so much to gain!"
Just one session of hypnotherapy is often enough to change a habit

Take back controlIt's a pattern-led habit. You don't even realise you're doing it half the time, it's autopilot behaviour. With hypnotherapy we can work together to change the pattern, identifying triggers and finding alternatives enabling you to take back control. And you'll be surprised how easy it can be.

How habits developA habit is an unconscious response to a particular trigger. A habit begins with a very conscious action, something we choose from many available options because we think it could be useful in a particular situation. If it does help, or we still believe it could, we repeat it the next time. If we repeat something the same way several times, our subconscious takes over to save us having to think about it and so it becomes an automatic behaviour.
If you drive, think back to when you first started. You were very conscious of every action, as you learned what to do. After a while, you stopped thinking about it and now you probably aren't even aware of changing gears, indicating, checking mirrors. It's automatic behaviour. |
