Although it's a natural and necessary response, when stress takes over it can have a debilitating effect on our state of mind. The key to beating stress and related issues is to identify the high expectations we have put on ourselves, release the pressure and learn how to manage it. There's no 'magic wand', but with an open mind and a real desire to change, we can work together to help you take back control.

What does it cost?
One-to-one sessions are £75 per hour.
Everyone is different, but the average needed is
3-4 sessions.

What is stress?


Stress is a natural reaction to fear designed to keep us safe, an instinct essential to our survival going back to primitive times. When faced with danger, we produce adrenaline and other hormones to help our body prepare for the 'fight or flight' response. This takes a lot of energy, so both our body and mind need to rest afterwards. If we are unable to do this then the hormones keep on coming, leading to an ongoing sense of imminent danger or anxiety. 

Common signs of stress and anxiety

  • Muscle tension
  • Loss or increase in appetite
  • Breathlessness
