Clinical Hypnotherapist
I discovered hypnotherapy when it helped me kick a 30-a-day smoking habit many years ago. After many failed attempts to stop, I had resigned myself to being a smoker for life, but after one session of hypnosis I never touched a cigarette again. This life-changing experience inspired me to train as a hypnotherapist myself and I have since helped many other people become non-smokers too.
I had suffered with a severe phobia of snakes all my life, unable to look at a picture in a book and going into hysterical convulsions if I saw one on the TV. As part of a training demonstration, my wonderful tutor helped me to overcome this debilitating fear with just one session of hypnosis. I can now take my children into a reptile house and encourage their healthy fascination of slithery creatures!

Having my first child had introduced me to the concept of hypnobirthing, learning some visualisations at pregnancy yoga that helped during labour. However, my overall birth experience was not a positive one and I discovered I was not alone. I developed the MAMA IN MIND hypnobirth programme to empower women everywhere.
